With only a week left until the Presidential election, the rhetoric has heated up between President |1| |2| and his opponent, ex-|3| |4| |5|.
|5|, desperate to close the |6|-point gap in the polls, declared that President |2| was a "|7|-smoking, |8|-swapping, |9|-eating, tax and spend liberal" that would send the country straight to |10| if given four more years to govern.
President |2| responded to these charges by saying that he felt the |11| of all Americans. He continued by repeating his campaign slogan of "It's the |12| stupid" and by promising to appoint at least one |13| person to a cabinet position if he were re-elected.
Later in the day, third-party candidate |14| |15| used his nightly info-mercial to blast the other candidates by saying that both were |16| Washington insiders. He told the American people that it was time to take back their |17| by voting for him.
Analysts are predicting that only about |18|% of registered voters will actually vote.
